Power Systems Plus Inc. is proud to be a long-term manufacturer and supplier of load banks and associated power system/electrical products to the power industry. The products currently manufactured for sale and rental at PSP include:

C.S.A. in collaboration with Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL) enforces very strict standards for manufactured products and on the facility where such products are produced.

Power Systems Plus is committed to the highest degree of quality and workmanship. All load banks are manufactured to CSA Standards and are thoroughly inspected for workmanship and tested to confirm proper working condition before being shipped from our shop facility. PSP ensures that all manufactured products meet or exceed industry standards and codes, and bare an approval/certification label.

AC load banks are primarily used by electrical contractors, service companies and genset manufacturers for the purpose of testing and commissioning. Power Systems Plus design and manufacture several common and custom AC Load Banks, ranging from 5 KW to 1500 KW at single and 3-phase 208/240/480/600 volt AC.

This particular model is used by company’s testing many different sizes of generators in the shop and field. It is a portable lightweight unit weighing approximately 230 lbs, and is easily handled as it is on 5” casters and has skid type handles for maneuvering. It is fabricated from aluminum to provide a lightweight and corrosion free product

Load Bank Wireless Remote Control - As part of Power Systems Plus ongoing innovation and expertise along with a strong commitment to exceed customer expectations, we have recently made the 250 KW Load Bank even more practical and useable with the incorporation of a wireless remote control on selected models. Our 400KW Multi-Voltage Load Bank is new to our fleet for rentals & sales. It can handle the following voltage stages:

The design and manufacturing of this unit is similar to our 250KW Multi-Volt, however the capacities are higher and the enclosure is larger. This portable unit is on 8” casters and also has the skid type handles. It weighs approximately 375lbs and requires two people for effective use and maneuvering.

This is a new product that we will be introducing to our rental fleet and sales department. It weighs approximately 180lbs and also has skid type handles for easy maneuvering. This compact and light load bank is easily handled by one person and is also capable of 4 different voltages.

Stationary Load Banks are also designed, manufactured, and installed at Power Systems Plus Inc. These units are designed for pad mount, roof mount, or wall mount and are used for minimum load requirements for prime or stand-by generator sets.

This is only a partial list of load banks. As noted, several of our products have been standardized, however, the majority of the load banks are customized to meet user’s specific needs and specifications. DC load banks are used by communications companies and service companies for testing Uninteruptible Power Systems (UPS) and battery banks. PSP manufactures custom DC volt load banks from 20 Amp to 2000 Amp ranging from 12 volts to 750 volts.

WIRE	Wire terminated at elements is sew-2 high temperature wire rated at 200^oC and ranges from #16 AWG to #10 AWG

AIR FLOW SWITCH	Air flow switch is provided to open contactor circuits should air flow cease CSA Certified


DISTRIBUTION	CSA Certified Distribution blocks or bus bars are used for main conductor connections and branch circuits

At Power Systems Plus Inc. we can custom build an A.C. Metering Panel or Control Panel to suit our customers’ requirements. These particular types of panels are usually ordered by companies in the generator set business.

We have successfully designed and manufactured a portable 125V/200A DC industrial battery charger for one of our valued customers. As this is a new design, it has been factory tested and certified to CSA Standards by an Entela inspector. We plan to market this product in the near future.
